| Comments： | Construct seems to have lost one of the EcoRI sites. Insert can be released by a EcoRI/HindIII double digest. Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--7.9; BamHI--4.0, 2.0, 1.55; PstI--4.1, 3.5; AccI--4.0, 3.75; EcoRI/HindIII--3.7, 3.5. cX52.5 is a multiple copy probe with all fragments mapping to Xq21.3-Xq22. The insert was isolated from a cosmid library of a hamster/human cell line with X as the only human chromosome. |
