| Comments： | Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI/PstI--3.0, 1.7; BamHI/BstEII--4.0, 0.7; NcoI--4.7. One of two vectors (ATCC 87108 and 87109) containing a luciferase gene altered to conserve amino acid sequence and function but to remove internal restriction sites to facilitate excision. These constructs differ in their orientation. The sites listed in the polylinker (MCS) can be used to excise the gene for insertion into another plasmid. |
