产品名称: | Hepatitis A virus |
---|---|
商品货号: | TS137937 |
Classification: | Picornaviridae, Hepatovirus |
Agent: | Hepatitis A virus |
Strain: | HM175/18f |
Applications: | Efficacy testing Viruscide testing Enteric Research |
Biosafety Level: | 2
Biosafety classification is based on U.S. Public Health Service Guidelines, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their facilities comply with biosafety regulations for their own country. |
Product Format: | frozen 1 mL per vial |
Storage Conditions: | -70°C or colder |
Comments: | Strain demonstrates a rapid replication/cytopathic effect (RR/CPE+) phenotype in BS-C-1 cells, but retains antigenic characteristics of low cell culture passage hepatitis A virus. CPE more pronounced in FRhK4 cells. |
Effect on Host: | CPE, refractile rounding and degeneration |
Recommended Host: | FRhK4 (ATCC® CRL-1688™) |
Growth Conditions: | Temperature: 35°C
Recommendations For Infection: Plate cells 24-48 hours prior to infection and infect when cultures are 80-90% confluent. Remove medium and inoculate with a small volume of virus (e.g. 1 mL per 25 cm2) diluted to provide an optimal MOI (e.g. 0.1). Adsorb 1-2 hours at 35°C in a humidified 5% CO2 atmosphere, rocking every 20-30 minutes to redistribute inoculum. End adsorption by adding virus growth medium.
Incubation:xa06-7 days
