Effect on Host:
No distinct CPE in MRC-5, but there is some general deterioration in MRC-5. LLC-MK2 has more distinct rounding CPE at high titer.

MRC-5 (ATCC® CCL-171™x99)
Growth Conditions:

Incubation: 12-14 days at 30°C, a 5% CO2 in air atmosphere is recommended.

Recommendations for Infection: For best results cells should be 24 to 48 hours old and 80% - 90% confluent (not 100% confluent).
