| Comments： | Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--3.0, 1.9, 0.24; XhoI--3.9, 0.96, 0.24; SmaI--4.7, 0.48; PvuII--2.5 (doublet). The insert contains the following restriction sites (approximate kb from the 5 end): KpnI--0.05; SmaI--0.45; EcoRV--1.0; XhoI--1.02, 1.98; NcoI--1.6; EcoRI--1.95. Contains the complete coding sequence, with 8 nt of the 5 untranslated region and the complete 3 untranslated region. The 1.95 kb EcoRI fragment detects RNA of 2.5 kb in rat liver and rat skin (major) and 7.3 and 4.4 (minor). The 5 end of the insert is adjacent to the T7 promoter of the vector. |
