| Comments： | Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--5.6; SacI--3.7, 1.9; EcoRI/SacI--3.0, 1.9, 0.8; BamHI--5.6; HindIII--3.8, 0.95, 0.65. Contains an internal SacI site which cuts the insert into a 0.6 kb EcoRI/SacI fragment and a 2.0 kb SacI fragment. The BanII and SacII polymorphisms are the same system. Subcloned from lambda86x5B, mapping approximately 5 kb 5 of HOX2B. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: BamHI, BglII, BstEII, BstNI, DraI, EcoRV, HindIII, HincII, KpnI, PstI, PvuII, TaqI, XmnI (panel of 10-12 unrelated Caucasians). |
