Comments: | Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--20.0, 9.2, 7.0, 6.6, 0.8, 0.7; XbaI--23.0, 8.2, 5.6, 3.8, 3.2, 1.7; BamHI/SalI--20.0, 9.2, 8.6, 6.6; BglII--22.0, 14.0, 7.4, 0.7; Uncut; SalI--20.0, 9.2, 15.7. Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI/SalI--5.2, 4.8, 4.7 (insert), 20.0, 9.2 (vector). The BglII and TaqI allele systems are in strong linkage disequilibrium. There is an additional variable BglII fragment at 1.8 kb which may be a dominant polymorphism. Subcloned from YAC D61E6. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: BamHI, EcoRI, HIndIII, MspI, PstI (in a panel of 6 individuals). |
