vector permitting positive selection for inserts
Comments:
Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--4.3; HindIII--4.3; BamHI--4.3.
Postive selection cloning vector which confers tetR (recommended concentration 10 ug/ml) only when an insert has been successfully cloned into the cI repressor gene.
Plasmid was derived from pUN121 by introduction of a BglII site into the cI gene. Plasmid pUN121 was derived from pTR262 by addition of EcoRI and SmaI/XmaI sites in the cI gene.
