| Comments: | Insert contains PstI (2), SstI (2), PvuII, and HindIII sites. Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--2.7 doublet, HindIII--4.6, 0.95; BamHI--5.7; PstI--2.85, 1.65, 1.3; XhoI uncut. The complete insert hybridizes with sequences on X and Y. A PvuII/EcoRI digest yields 2 fragments from the insert--1.7 and 1.0 kb. The larger hybridizes only to the X chromosome. The smaller recognizes all the same fragments as p2A7. |
