| Comments： | Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BglI--4.1, 3.2, 4; EcoRI--2.8, 5.6; HindIII--2.9 doublet, 2.6. The BglII polymorphism may be the same pattern as the PstI D1/D2 system and also the same pattern as the RsaI polymorphism detected with the whole phage, RX-48. The PstI C1/C2 fragments are light, and may actually be 3 or 4 closely spaced alleles. This probe has been used with probe prehybridization or competition to block any repeated sequences. |
