| Comments： | Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI/HindIII--2.8, 2.3, 0.69. An EcoRI/HindIII double digest shows insert fragment sizes of 2.4 and 0.45 kb. Codominant segregation of the TaqI polymorphism has been demonstrated in 53 3-generation families. PstI also detects a 2-allele RFLP showing a high degree of linkage disequilibrium with the TaqI RFLP. Subcloned from cosmid THH22. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: BamHI, BglII, EcoRI, HindIII, MspI, PvuII, RsaI. |
