| Comments: | Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--3.0, 2.0; HindIII--5.0; BamHI--4.0, 0.72; PstI--4.1, 0.4, 0.3; SalI--4.7. This clone was probably derived from a non-functional transcript. Comparison to genomic sequences suggest improper splicing at the correct acceptor splice site. This insert includes an open reading frame of 150 amino acids which includes sequences with homology to helix-loop-helix proteins. This probe detects mRNA of about 5.0 and 4.8 kb in the T-ALL Jurkat cell line. |
