| Shipping Information: | Distributed: DNA (dried). Rehydrate with TE. (amount: 2 ug) |
| Comments: | Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): AvaI--2.7, 2.4, 2.1; BamHI--7.2; EcoRI--4.4, 2.8; NotI--uncut; HindIII--4.4, 2.8. This probe detects a Y-specific 4.4 kb HindIII fragment which has about 10 copies in normal males. It also detects 6 fainter Y-specific bands ranging from 2 to 15 kb. The copy number of the 4.4 kb fragment may be reduced in gonadal dysgenesis. |
