Insert contains the following restriction sites (approximate kb from the 5 end): BamHI--0.35; BglII--0.08; HindIII--0.07; NcoI--0.12, 0.24; NdeI--1.00; PvuI--0.10; SphI--1.20; XbaI--0.52. Encodes a truncated form of Vcam1 including Ig domains 1-3 and having a different carboxy terminus. The 5 end of the gene was generated by PCR and was ligated to the 3 portion of the clone N10 at the BamHI site. The resulting full length cDNA was confirmed by sequencing. |
