| Comments： | The vector does not have convenient restriction sites close to the insert. A BamHI digest yields 3 fragments from the insert, 5 0.7, 0.575, 3.5 kb 3. The end fragments contain vector sequences, and the vector band is about 3 kb. The insert contains the following restriction sites (nucleotide position according to GenBank J03552): BamHI--583, 1158; EcoRI--746, 3814. Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--4.6, 3.0; HindIII--3.0, 2.8, 1.75, 0.4; XbaI--uncut; PstI--3.0, 2.0, 1.3, 0.9, 0.4; BamHI--3.4, 2.9, 0.7, 0.6.
