| Comments: | Eighty percent of plaques were detected by 32P-labeled total genomic DNA. Two negative plaques contained E. coli stuffer fragments from the arm preparation; stuffers are considered to be the most likely source of
egative plaques. Depth of sequence representation appears to be excellent. Contains the following 3 sequences from different parts of the X chromosome: p19-2, p58-1 (DXS14, ATCC 57128, 57129), and L1.28 (DXS7, ATCC 57302, 57303). When the library was screened with a HPRT cDNA probe, of 30600 plaques tested, 7 were positive after 2 cycles, and each showed a restriction map characteristic of HPRT. |
