| Comments： | Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--6.3; ClaI/BamHI--3.3, 2.6, 0.5; HindIII/EcoRI--3.3, 2.0, 1.2. Shuttle expression vector. Permits expression in both S. cerevisiae and mouse cells. The EcoRI, SmaI, and BamHI sites are 3 to the unique available in-phase initiation codon under control of the SV40 early promoter. Constructed by replacing the HindIII/EcoRI fragment of pCYM3 with the HindIII/EcoRI multiple cloning site from M13mp11. The translation start codon has been removed by this process. |
