| Product Format: | frozen 1 mL per vial |
| Storage Conditions: | -70°C or colder |
| Comments: | Good immunogen in rabbits and horses Cross-reacts with Human adenovirus 10, 13, 19 and 30 by serum neutralization and HAI HA with rat, rhesus monkey and human O type red blood cells |
| Effect on Host: | CPE, refractile rounding and sloughing |
| Recommended Host: | WI-38 (ATCC® CCL-75™) |
| Growth Conditions: | Temperature: 37°C Recommendations for Infection: Plate cells 24 hours prior to infection and infect when cultures are 75-90% confluent. Remove medium and inoculate with a small volume of virus (e.g. 1 mL per 25 cm2) diluted to provide an optimal MOI (e.g. 0.1). Adsorb 1-2 hours at 37°C in a humidified 5% CO2 atmosphere while rocking continuously. End adsorption by adding virus growth medium. Incubation: Incubate infected culture for 2-11 days at 37°C in a humidified 5% CO2 atmosphere, until CPE are well advance through 90% of the culture. |
