| Comments： | Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI/HindIII--8.4, 4.6; EcoRI--14. The restriction sites reported by the depositor correspond to those predicted by the sequence stored in GenBank J00120. This insert appears to extend approximate 800 bp farther in the 5 direction. The insert contains the following restriction sites (approximate kb from the 5 end): PstI--1.0, 2.7, 5.4, 5.8; ClaI--1.8, 7.7; XhoI--3.2; EcoRV--5.5. The latter 2 PstI sites and the EcoRV site are in exon 1; the latter ClaI site is in exon 2. Contains both exons of the gene and 5 and 3 flanking sequences. The intron contains an Alu-like repeat. Recorded as not polymorphic by Collaborative Research, meaning either not polymorphic in 0.8% agarose gels, or difficult to work with. |
