The insert contains the following sites (in bp from the PstI site): HincII--300; PstI--340, 600; ScaI--430; RsaI--405, 430, 500, 900; AvaI--830. Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): AvaI--3.2, 2.5; EcoRI--5.4; PstI--5.0, 0.38 + smaller. D17Rp17 maps to proximal 17. The site on chomosome 4 is on mid 4. |
