Fibroblast Basal Medium is a sterile, phenol red-free, liquid tissue culture medium intended for use as one component in a complete ATCC^® Primary Cell Solutions™ system. This system is designed to support fibroblasts derived from normal human epidermis. Fibroblast Basal Medium contains essential and non-essential amino acids, vitamins, other organic compounds, trace minerals and inorganic salts.

1. To support the proliferation and plating efficiency of fibroblasts (e.g., Dermal Fibroblasts, Normal, Human Neonatal ATCC PCS-201-010, Dermal Fibroblasts, Normal, Human Neonatal, Mitomycin C Treated ATCC PCS-201-010), Fibroblast Basal Medium must be supplemented with one of the following kits:
   1. Fibroblast Growth Kit–Serum-Free (ATCC PCS-201-040)
   2. Fibroblast Growth Kit–Low Serum (ATCC PCS-201-041)
2. Optional media supplements:
   1. Penicillin-Streptomycin-Amphotericin B Solution (ATCC PCS-999-002)
   2. Phenol Red (ATCC PCS-999-001)
