| Comments： | Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--2.8 (doublet); HindIII--4.4, 1.5; ClaI--5.8; BamHI--5.8; EcoRV--5.8. Contains the entire coding sequence of murine Zfy-2. The amino acid sequence of the murine zinc-finger domain is 80% identical to that of the human ZFY, with no insertions or deletions. Strongly cross-hybridizes to Zfy-1. When hybridized to EcoRI-digested adult mouse genomic DNA, this probe detects bands of 11 and 5 kb, corresponding to Zfy-1 and Zfy-2 respectively. |
