| Derivation： | The DG-75 cell line was established in 1975 from a pleural effusion of a patient with a primary abdominal lymphoma, which clinically and histologically resembled Burkitts lymphoma. |

A culture submitted to the ATCC in July of 2001 was found to be contaminated with mycoplasma. Progeny were cured by a 21-day treatment with BM Cycline. After a six-week period following treatment, the cells were assayed for mycoplasma, by Hoechst stain, PCR and by the standard culture test. All tests were negative.

| Complete Growth Medium： | The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated RPMI-1640 Medium, ATCC 30-2001. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum (ATCC 30-2020) to a final concentration of 10%.

| Subculturing： | Cultures can be maintained by addition of fresh medium or replacement of medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension in fresh medium at 3 to 5 x 105 viable cells/mL. Maintain cultures at cell concentrations between 3 x 105 and 3 x 106 viable cells/mL.
Medium Renewal: Add fresh medium every 2 to 3 days (depending on cell density). |
