| Comments： | Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): PstI--4.4, 0.6, 0.3. For growth of the host strain, the medium must contain DAP (diaminopimelic acid) (100 mg/L) and thymidine (20 mg/L). Includes a synthetic poly(G) tract of 27 nt at the 5 end, and a poly(C) tract of 18 bp at the 3 end. The poly(A) is 81 nt. Contains the complete coding sequences with no codon changes from wild type. To detect the BglII polymorphism, a 203 bp EcoRI fragment containing exons 1 and 2 was used. |
