| Isolation： | STX673-12C (ATCC 208627) and STX667-7C (TS192075) were constructed at the YGSC at the request of Dr. De Angelis who needed temperature-sensitive strains which were also proteinase deficient and transformable. Parents used for the crosses were: the proteinase deficient strain BJ5458 (ATCC 208283), the cly2-1 strain STX464-5C (ATCC 208626), and the transformable strains YPH258 (ATCC 204674) and XS1385-6D (ATCC 204668). |
