| Comments: | Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--3.15; PstI--3.15; HindIII--3.15; SmaI--2.8, 0.32; BamHI--2.7, 0.43. The polymorphic BamHI site is 25 kb from the polymorphic MspI site, and 2 kb from the polymorphic HaeIII site. This insert was subcloned from phcTAT2-16 and extends from exon 8 to exon 12. This polymorphism shows strong linkage disequilibrium with the MspI and HaeIII RFLPs. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: BglII, EcoRI, HindIII, MspI, PstI, PvuII, TaqI, XbaI (tested on 10 unrelated individuals). |
