| Comments: | Centrifugation (2000 X g for 1 hr.) and addition of cycloheximide recommended for passage in cell culture. *Requests for this agent must carry signed statement assuming all risks and responsibility for lab handling. Triturate fluid several times to disperse chlamydia. For cell culture, centrifuge inoculumn, adsorb for 1 hour and feed with HEPES buffered culture medium. Next-generation sequencing (NGS) at ATCC on the McCoy cell line (ATCC® CRL-1696™) used as the host has shown the presence of Mus Musculus mobilized endogenous polytropic provirus and Murine leukemia virus. |
