| Comments: | Strain E18 transformed with pFATPOT Production of site specific alpha-1-antitrypsin The POT1 sequence can be removed from pFATPOT by a SalI/BamHI double digest as a fragment of approximately 1.6 kb. The wild-type alpha-1-antitrypsin gene can be removed by a BamHI/XbaI double digest. The alpha-1-antitrypsin gene is under the regulation of the Saccharomyces cerevisiae TPI promoter, and is followed by the Saccharomyces cerevisiae TPI terminator. The vector contains a pMB1 and 2 micron replicon. |
