| Comments： | The insert contains a DdeI site and a RsaI site. Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): PstI--2.7, 0.64; EcoRI--3.3; HindIII--3.3. This construct does not make a fusion protein recognized by MAb PTY1. The insert includes coding sequences for the carboxy terminal portion of the coat protein gene, 3 untranslated sequences (166 nucleotides) and poly(A) (19 nucleotides). The 3 non-coding region is A + T rich (61%) and shorter than previously reported potyvirus sequences. There was no polyadenylation signal observed. |
