| Comments: | Expression of the SOD/HCV fusion protein is inducible by IPTG. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) insert encodes amino acids 2054 - 2223 of the HCV polyprotein. The pSODCF1 vector was modified by removing the small BamHI/EcoRI fragment (thus losing the internal SmaI site), and then inserting a linker that restored the BamHI and EcoRI sites in the appropriate reading frame, and introduced a downstream AflII site. |
