| Applications: | Animals were immunized against exotoxin A of Pseudomonas aeruginosa by infection with strain PA220. The antibody binds specifically for the exotoxin A of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It displays specificity for exotoxin A from strain PA103 and strain PAO1 and PAO-PR1, a derivative of PAO1. The antibody shows high specificity and reactivity for native and denatured exotoxin A in ELISA assays. Both TC1 (ATCC CRL-2493) and TC31 (TS198323) antibodies neutralize exotoxin A toxicity against CHO cells in an in vitro assay but only TC31 protected mice infected with strain PA220 in an in vivo model. A hybridoma producing an anti idiotypic antibody against TC31 is available (ATCC CRL-2485). |
| Storage Conditions: | liquid nitrogen vapor phase |
| Derivation: | Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0-Ag14 cells. It displays specificity for exotoxin A from strain PA103 and strain PAO1 and PAO-PR1, a derivative of PAO1. |
