| Comments: | Restriction digests analyzed on agarose gels give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--2.9, 2.7; HindIII--5.25, 0.55; BglII--5.7; XbaI--3.5, 2.2. RAF1 shows linkage to Von Hippel-Lindau disease (VHL) with a LOD score of 4.38 with theta = 0.11. Haplotype frequencies for the TaqI and BglI polymorphisms suggest only slight linkage disequilibrium between the two sites. Significant linkage has been demonstrated to von Hippel-Lindau disease (theta = 0.0, z = 2.6). Insert contains PvuII (2), HindII, SalI (2), StuI (3), SphI, BglII, EcoRV, and Xba sites. |
