Promoter-cloning shuttle vector permitting visual detection of activity from divergent promoters. Uses the promoterless luciferase gene from Vibrio harveyi (luxAB) and the promoterless alkaline phosphatase (phoA) as the reporter groups. phoA and luxAB are oriented divergently, with the HindIII end of the MCS closer to luxAB.
