| Growth Conditions: | Temperature: 25.0°C Duration: grown with Enterobacter aerogenes ATCC 13048 and mixed bacteria Protocol: Once the culture is established, the cysts will excyst and the trophozoites will comsume the bacteria in the medium. Subculture by detaching the cysts from the surface of the flask with a sterile cell scrapper, agitate, and aseptically transfer a 0.1-ml aliquot to a fresh flask containing 10 ml of bacterized medium 802. |
