Comments:
Deposited as a useful research reagent for study of this recently identified pathogen affecting fisheries around the world. This particular isolate has not been sequenced, but several other representatives of this agent have been (Hutoran M, et al. 2005).
Effect on Host:
Nephritis, gill necrosis and death in vivo. Intracellular vacuolation in infected cell culture in vitro.
