| Comments： | RAW 309 Cr.1 was derived from the same tumor as RAW 309F.1.1 (see ATCC TIB-51). The cells are negative for surface immunoglobulin (sIg-) Thy-1.2 (Thy-1.2-) and Ia (Ia-). The cells will pinocytose neutral red and phagocytose latex beads and zymosan. They will also lyse antibody coated sheep erythrocytes. Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox). |
| Complete Growth Medium： | The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated Dulbeccos Modified Eagles Medium, Catalog No. 30-2002. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.
