| Comments: | Animals were immunized with stromal cells from mouse bone marrow. Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0 myeloma cells. The antibody blocks adhesion of lymphocyte precursors to bone marrow stromal cells. The antibody recognizes an antigen believed to be the mouse analog of human VCAM-1 that is expressed on stromal cells in bone marrow and on inflamed endothelial cells (see also M/K-1.9, ATCC CRL-1910). |
