| Comments： | Animals were immunized with bovine alveolar macrophages. Spleen cells were fused with NS1 myeloma cells. The antibody is specific for a 145000 dalton antigen on bovine B cells. Expression of WC3 correlates with IgM expression on circulating B cells. The antigen is also expressed on dendritic cells in lymphoid tissues. It appears to be the analogue to human CD21. This antibody was included in the panel of the International Workshop on Bovine, Sheep and Goat Leukocyte Differentiation Antigens in 1989. |
