| Applications: | This cell line is a suitable transfection host. |
| Storage Conditions: | liquid nitrogen vapor phase |
| Karyotype: | The stemline chromosome number is hypotriploid with the 2S component occurring at 1.4%. Approximately 20 markers were common to most S metaphases, of which i (1p), t(12;?) and t(18;?) were generally paired; t(6t?) had an HSR segment of q arm, and M7 had two secondary constrictions. Normal chromosomes 1, 13, 15 and 17 were absent, and the X was disomic. No Y chromosome was detected in the QM stained preparations. Note: Cytogenetic information is based on initial seed stock at ATCC. Cytogenetic instability has been reported in the literature for some cell lines. |
