| Applications: | The hybridoma cell line 807.15 secretes a mouse monoclonal antibody (IgG2b) reactive with the G1 protein of La Crosse Virus. This antibody as well as 807.31 (ATCC CRL-2282) and 807.33 (ATCC CRL-2290) is useful for identifying infection by La Crosse virus and other California serogroup Bunyaviruses. The 807.15 antibody has been used in ELISA, Western Blot, immunoprecipitation and immunofluorescence assays. The line was produced by fusing P3X63Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice that had been immunized with La Crosse Virus. |
| Storage Conditions: | liquid nitrogen vapor phase |
| Derivation: | The line was produced by fusing P3X63Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice that had been immunized with La Crosse Virus. |
| Genes Expressed: | immunoglobulin; monoclonal antibody; against the G1 protein of La Crosse Virus. |
| Cellular Products: | immunoglobulin; monoclonal antibody; against the G1 protein of La Crosse Virus. |

| Complete Growth Medium: | The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated Dulbeccos Modified Eagles Medium, Catalog No. 30-2002. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.
|
| Subculturing: | Cultures can be maintained by addition of fresh Medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 1 to 2 X 105 viable cells/mL.xa0 Maintain cultures at a cell concentration between 1 X 105 and 1 X 106 cells/mL. Do not allow the cell concentration to exceed 1 X 106 cells/mL. Medium Renewal: Every 2 to 3 days |
| Cryopreservation: | Complete growth medium described above supplemented with 5% (v/v) DMSO.xa0 Cell culture tested DMSO is available as ATCC Catalog No. 4-X. |
| Culture Conditions: | Temperature: 37°C
Atmosphere: Air, 95%; Carbon dioxide (CO2), 5% |
| Isotype: | IgG2b |
