商品货号: TS212957
Organism: Mus musculus (B cell); Mus musculus (myeloma), mouse (B cell); mouse (myeloma)
Cell Type: hybridoma: B lymphocyte
Product Format: frozen
Morphology: lymphoblast
Culture Properties: suspension
Biosafety Level: 1

Biosafety classification is based on U.S. Public Health Service Guidelines, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their facilities comply with biosafety regulations for their own country.

Strain:

Strain: BALB/c (B cell); BALB/c (myeloma)

Applications:
Animals were immunized with stool-derived Norwalk virus.
The antibody is directed against an epitope of the 58 kDa antigen of Norwalk Virus.
The antibody specifically binds to Norwalk virus particles found in human stool specimens from naturally occurring Norwalk virus outbreaks.
The antibody reacts with the prototype 8FIIa strain of Norwalk virus in an enzyme immunoassay (EIA) for detecting Norwalk virus in stool specimens.
Disclosure: This material is cited in a US or other Patent and may not be used to infringe the claims. Depending on the wishes of the Depositor, ATCC may be required to inform the Patent Depositor of the party to which the material was furnished. This material may not have been produced or characterized by ATCC.
Derivation:
Animals were immunized with stool-derived Norwalk virus.
Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0 mouse myeloma cells.
Genes Expressed:
immunoglobulin; monoclonal antibody; against Norwalk Virus
Cellular Products:
immunoglobulin; monoclonal antibody; against Norwalk Virus

No cross-reactions were seen in stools containing other caliciviruses or in stools containing rotaviruses, astroviruses, or enteric adenoviruses.
Complete Growth Medium: The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated Iscoves Modified Dulbeccos Medium, Catalog No. 30-2005. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.
Subculturing:
Medium Renewal: Add fresh medium every 2 to 3 days (depending on cell density)
Cultures can be maintained by the addition of fresh medium or replacement of medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 1 to 2 X 10 exp5 viable cells/ml.
Maintain cell density between 1 X 10 exp5 and 1 X 10 exp6 viable cells/ml.
Attached cells may need to be shaken loose.
Cryopreservation:
culture medium 95%; DMSO, 5%
Culture Conditions:
Temperature: 37.0°C
Isotype: IgG1
Name of Depositor: University of Massachusetts Medical Center
Deposited As: mouse (B cell); mouse (myeloma)
