| Comments： | The insert contains HincII sites at 0.9 and 2.0 kb from the naturally occurring EcoRI site. Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--3.7, 2.4; HincII--2.5, 1.5, 1.1, 0.95; PstI--6.1; HindIII--5.3, 0.4 (doublet); BglI--uncut. Detects a major genomic EcoRI fragment of 3.0 kb corresponding to the pseudogene and a faint genomic EcoRI fragment of 3.8 kb from FUCA1. Enzymes not detecting polymorphism: AvaII, BamHI, BglI, BglII, EcoRI, EcoRV, HincII, HindIII, KpnI, MboI, MspI, PstI, PvuII, RsaI, SacI, SstI, StuI, TaqI, XbaI, XmnI (N=9). |
